Largo Turns a Page 2019, the library’s annual community read program sponsored by the Friends of Largo Library, will present author Christina Baker Kline on Saturday, March 9, 2019. A reception and book signing in Gallery 120 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm will be followed by the author’s discussion of her most recent book, A Piece of the World, at 2:30 pm in the Jenkins Wing.

The novel explores the real-life relationship between the artist Andrew Wyeth and the subject of his best-known painting, Christina’s World. An instant New York Times bestseller, A Piece of the World was awarded the 2018 New England Prize for Fiction, the 2018 Maine Literary Award, and a Silver Nautilus Award.

Registration is required for the author's talk, it is not necessary to register for the reception and book signing.  Books will be available for sale, or you can bring your own copy to be signed.
