Poverty, food insecurity, hunger, and homelessness can affect individuals and community in a myriad of ways and at any time. Two novels by Diane Chamberlain address these issues:Necessary Lies and The Good Father.  Read one or both of the novels, and join us to discuss the themes in these books and issues. We will also be hosting a food drive in September to benefit local food bank (ex.: dry goods, canned goods, baby items and bread).  Please note, this is not a‘food for fines’ initiative.

Items can be brought to the Circulation Desk any time or to the lobby on the following dates/times:
Friday, September 7, 10:00am-12:00pm
Monday, September 17, 5:00pm-7:00pm
