Poverty, food insecurity, hunger, and homelessness can affect individuals and community in a myriad of ways and at any time. Two novels by Diane Chamberlain address these issues:Necessary Lies and The Good Father.  Read one or both of the novels, and join us to discuss the themes in these books and issues. We will also be hosting a food drive in September to benefit local food bank (ex.: dry goods, canned goods, baby items and bread).  Please note, this is not a‘food for fines’ initiative.
