IMAGINE YOUR STORY: TEEN ART CONTEST
OFFICIAL RULES

THEME 
Submissions should follow our summer theme: Imagine Your Story 
You can take inspiration from your own personal story, or from Fantasy, Mythology, Fairy Tales, etc. 

CATEGORIES
2D (Drawing, Painting, Photography, Collage) 
3D (Sculpture, Pottery, Jewelry, Mixed Media) 

Prizes will be awarded in each category as follows: 
First prize: $100 Second prize: $50 Third prize: $25 People’s Choice: $50 

**SUBMISSIONS ACCEPTED JUNE 1 - **JULY 31ST (EXTENDED)
Submissions will be accepted in the Largo Public Library Teen Room from June 1 through July 31. Limit is two (2) submissions per person per category. The official registration and submission forms are located in the Largo Public Library Teen Room. The form must accompany submitted artwork. If a submission is deemed inappropriate, it will not be entered into the contest. 

Digital Art & Photography: All entries must be 5x7 OR 8x10. Submissions must be unmatted and unframed. 

Drawing: Drawings must be on 8.5x11 unlined paper. Drawings on tracing paper will not be accepted. Submissions must be unmatted and unframed. 

Painting & Collage: Entries can be any medium. No entries larger than 18x36. Submissions must be unmatted and unframed. 

3D Submissions: All 3D submissions will be displayed in our glass display case and must be no larger than 20L x 20W x 48H (inches). 

**JUDGING
Works selected for the contest will be displayed in Gallery 120 at Largo Public Library and judged from **September 1st - 30th. A panel of judges will determine 1st through 3rd place prizes and a public vote will determine a People’s Choice prize. All decisions are final. 

Contest winners will be contacted individually but they will also be announced on our Facebook and Instagram (@largopubliclibrary) on Friday, **October 9th.
